  The Original IDEAL Wire-Nut® Wire Connectors IDEAL offered the Original IDEAL Wire-Nut® Wire Connector more than 60 years ago, and has continued to set industry standards ever since. Five color-coded models cover hundreds of different solid or stranded wire combinations. UL Listed as pressure-type wire connectors, IDEAL Wire-Nut® Wire Connectors comply with Federal Specification W-S-610E, are UL 486C Listed, CSA C 22, 2 #188 Certified and rated at 105°C and 221°F to handle all branch circuit and fixture splicing applications.  IDEAL Wing-Nut® Wire Connectors Introduced in 1958, IDEAL added "wings" to give users more torque-power. IDEAL Wing-Nut® Wire Connectors handle a wide range of branch circuit and fixture wiring requirements. Just three color-coded models handle UL Listed wire combinations from 2 No. 18's to 1 No. 6 with 2 No. 8's, solid or stranded wire. This one piece design installs easily by hand with no special training or tools. Ideal for pig-tailing a copper conductor onto aluminum branch circuit wiring. UL 467 Listed for grounding and bonding.  The IDEAL Twister® DB Plus Wire Connector The smallest wet location/direct burial connector with the widest wire combination range available. IDEAL Twister® DB Plus Wire Connector handles wire combinations from 1 No. 20 with 1 No. 18 to 2 No. 12's with 1 No. 10. UL Listed for 600V applications. This unique connector can be applied by hand or with a 3/8 in. (9 mm) nutdriver for fast, secure connections in underground/wet location applications. |
