425, a dead-soft aluminum foil tape, its highly reflective backing provides excellent radiation of both heat and light. Long aging, both indoors and out. Use as a mask in electroplating and paint stripping operations, reduces edge build-up. Also good for general sealing, metal patching, moisture barrier and heat-reflecting. Can be qualified to meet Fed. Spec. L-T-80B and MIL-T-23397b Amend. 2, Type II, and F.A.R. 25.8599b).

5413 tape has a polyimide Kapyon(R) Type "H" backing that is flame resistant, radiation resistant and chemical resistant. The polyimide Kapton(REG) backing does not soften at elevated temperature, thus the film provides an excellent release surface when used at temperatures above 204 deg. C, such as wave solder for printed circuit board manufacturers.
Scotch(TM) Water Soluble Wave Solder Tape
5414 is designed to mask gold fingers areas of printed circuit boards during wave soldering and then dissolve completely away during typical inline aqueous cleaning operations. When dissolved, the tape is biodegradable, non-toxic, pollution free and neutral in pH. It is packaged in a moisture impervious foil bag with desiccant to insure long term storage stability in extreme humidity.

5421 tape with ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene film provides an excellent abrasion or wear resistant surface. UHMW polyethylene film also offers anti-stick and low coefficient of friction properties at temperatures under 107 deg. C. Used on guide rails of conveyor lines to reduce noise, wear and to help products slide easier. Low friction backing resists gouging and puncture.
Scotch(TM) PTFE Film Tapes
5480 is semi-transparent, uses a PTFE fluorocarbon film backing a silicone adhesive for maximum wear life performance on hot melt coating equipment such as polyethylene extruders. Use on rubber laminating roll of extruders to prevent the hot polyethylene from building up. 5490 has excellent chemical resistance, provides anti-friction and an easy release surface. Ideal for wrapping rollers, plates, belts, etc.
