ARDUINO™ TINKERKIT ROTARY POTENTIOMETER - NEW!

A potentiometer is a commonly used variable resistor. Turning the knob, if supplied with 5 V, the output voltage on the middle pin is between 0 and 5 V. This value is sent through the middle pin of the pot.

Output: this module gives you back a value between 0 and 5 V referring to the position of the middle pin (0 fully left, 5 V fully right). If attached to an Arduino's input which uses the TinkerKit Shield, values are between 0 and 1023.

Description: this module is made up of a linear potentiometer of 4.7 kohm, a signal amplifier, a 3-pin standard connector TinkerKit, a green LED which indicates that the module is correctly powered, and a yellow LED of which the luminosity depends on the potentiometer's position.

This is a SENSOR. The connector is an OUTPUT which has to be attached to an INPUT of the TinkerKit Shield.
