A contactor is an electrically controlled switch used for switching a power circuit, similar to a relay except with higher current ratings.
A contactor is controlled by a circuit which has a much lower power level than the switched circuit.
Contactors are used to control electric motors, lighting, heating, capacitor banks, and other electrical loads.

NTE announces our new R03 series Full Featured Relays.
Available with both AC & DC coils, and DPDT (8 pin) & 3PDT (11 pin) contact configurations, these 10 Amp, octal based relays offer all available features in one relay.
As an alternative to our extremely popular R02 types, this new series allows you to stock one R03 relay and fulfill requests for R02 relays that previously required you to stock multiple versions.
